About the event

The 13th Ramfjord Symposium is a tribute to Dr. Sigurd Ramfjord and his contributions to the field of periodontics. The program brings together internationally renowned speakers who have expertise in long-term periodontal care and emerging scientifically-based treatments. It provides a comprehensive insight into critical issues involved in delivering ideal treatment for clinical practice.

Hard tissue augmentation without soft tissue coverage and soft tissue grafting without proper hard tissue support will not result in a predictable treatment outcomes. Hence, soft and hard tissue management around natural dentition and dental implants are key for successful overall treatment outcomes. Creating ideal periodontal and peri-implant soft and hard tissue conditions enables clinicians to achieve desired esthetic outcomes and maintain long-term treatment stability.

This symposium invites internationally recognized experts in these fields to discuss resolutions to these 'twilight' challenges. Recent research evidence and newly developed clinical techniques and tips will be shared with all participants. The pros and cons of techniques used to treat complications of soft and hard tissue grafting will also be discussed .
